Positive: In this very small village we found this beautiful property for a one night stop on our way to Arequipa. It is great and peaceful. The host is very nice and we had a super dinner and breakfast! Night is cold, but we got a little heater which was very nice!

Negative: A little bit difficult to find.

Positive: Mariela and Melisa, Mariela’s daughter, are the best hostesses. The location is prime to visit Vinicunca and Palcoyo, the 7-color mountains. Also a short drive to Pitumarca and the ruins of Machupitumarca. The hotel was spotless, comfortable and convenient. Kudos to Mariela and her family for keeping her family’s casona and making a welcoming oasis for us tourists.

Positive: Very cosy, very private, very authentic. Meals prepared and served individually. Great lication to start tours to Palccoyo and/or Vinicunca.

Positive: The owner was genuinely welcoming, attentive and professional--knowledgeable, too, about sites and places to include in the itinerary, as well as how best to get to Polccoyo, which was our destination and beyond expectations compared to Vinicunca. The facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast. I hope to come here again and will certainly recommend it to my friends.
